I would like to make a chanuka party for my immediate family and am looking for some ideas of how I can throw something nice together with enough food to go around without spending a boat load of money.
I was thinking of everyone making individual pizza pies, with toppings and whatnot, but I dont have a dairy oven.
bagels is an option, but ill probably need other things besides for it.
just looking for any and all ideas for a menu

pitta, lots of salads and falafel? schwarma if you want to do meat.
Also ask guests to bring something small eg drinks, some doughnuts, that will keep down the costs.
latkes are cheap.
