Fish and soup left out

after cooking gefilte fish was left in the oven and carrot soup on the stove for about two and a half hours until they got into the fridge. can we still have them. both were still warm when we got to them, the soup was steaming while being pureed. thanks

I always leave out food to cool off before putting into fridge. Enjoy your fish and soup!
