My dh and I do not agree on the concept of allowing or disallowing violent video games into the house.
I told him I would get more opinions on Imamother, which will (hopefully) support my view.
Without saying which side is which, what is your opinion on the use of violent video games?
I am specifically referring to a 9-10 yr old boy, and a certain game rated T/ Violent.

We don't allow first-party shooting games, but I suppose that, at least theoretically, there must be some sort of violent games that I might allow.

Depends how realistic it is, what's the goal, what's the story, and how mature the kid is.
