I want to buy some clothes for my teenage nieces in Israel. The sizes was given were a size 42 and a size 52. I think the smaller niece is around a 6, but can anyone verify that and tell me what a 52 is? TIA!

From the Newcomers Guide:
42=10
52=20
but that seems pretty big to me. Maybe ask if they are a S,M,L Xl & buy according to that.

42 is a 10 for sure, though Israeli sizes run small IMO. So someone who is overall thin but big/tall might wear 8 even if 42. I was a 42 and in America would buy size 8 or 10 dresses, and in places like old navy would get size small or medium. But I'm all over the place so it's not the best example.
A 6 would be 38 or so, and 52 I've never seen in a store. Is it possible it's some sort of children's size? Or a mistake? Unless the teen in question is quite large.
