I saw this new book advertised on the Artscroll website. Has anyone read it? Was it good? I would appreciate your comments, please!

It seems that it was serialized in the Lakewood Shopper.
I have Innocent and Desparate Deceptions. I'm waiting for the third one to come out...

I really enjoyed Innocent Deceptions. That's why I was excited to see this new book by the same author. I find that if I like one book by an author, I usually like them all. Awaiting more comments, please.

I read it. sorry but I didnt like it at all. Every single person in the book needed therapy, everyone had issues.

Let me know what you think, when you read it.

I read it. Really didn't like it. I couldn't even finish it. Just read the first few chapters and lost patience with it.

I think Road Block is far better than Naomi Hirsch's previous books, and definitely worth a read.

I also didn't like it.

Too many characters with too many issues. It wasn't well written either.

That is exactly my opinion too.

OP here. I finally read the book. I didn't like it at all. Totally depressing. And many said the same, every character in the book has "issues." Also, it actually gave me a fear of school buses...whenever I see a school bus now, I think of the story Sad Wierd!
