Not sure I understand this question. Does it surprise you?
Thanks shlomitsmum- did you sew the clips in yourself? How many clips do you have and where are they?

In a group setting, I'd cover my hair.
At home, no way.
In public, I used to wear a simple cotton snood.
Now, I'd try the pre-tied bandana. You don't need to sew in the clips. You can get pretty clips or pretty bobby pins.
