Home depot, walmart and I paid as little as 150.00 for a large and elegant rug and has been good to us five yr and more

Try Target - I've seen some really nice ones there for not so expensive.
You can also try Home Center - the "home store" of Ross.

there was a big sale on 17th and 60th I got an area rug for $49 they have alot....try it see if the sale is still on we went motze shabbos....
they also have tons of furniture, couches, bedrooms, everything...check it out
