Im moving to Lakewood and I wanted the name of a good attorney that is thorough an not one of the drum ones that work on the side of the builders. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I was very happy with her, she know the town well, she advised me not to buy where she thought I would be taken advantage.

I felt she was my advocate and not the builder at all.

If you are buying a new construction make sure to get all extras that you need in the contract or the builder will want to overcharge you once the contract is done.

Speak to owners of new construction and they should tell you their experience and how you can avoid it. I wish I did.

Amother do you mind elaborating what you can be taken advantage of and what I should look out for?

Also I have a few friends who were burnt by Miriam Weinstein so I would rather not use her.

Look to see what you need.

Sprinkler system
Try not to get painters white and have the house painted with a good quality paint.
Besides telephone line have them install a line for cable to, you might want to use Optimum as your phone provider.
Give you a normal garden, not just grass.
Intercom system at a normal price.

My builder would not do a drop of extra for me and if I wanted to pay for it he would charge an astronomical price.

I never heard in Lakewood that the lawyers might be on the side of the builders, but I have heard that an agent or so is really family of the construction company.... Is this a similar idea? Confused

Think about it a builder is selling 50 homes and you Are only buying one. They all want the job and your business again.
