I used regular scotch tape, and somehow that wasn't enough to prevent a few incidents of people pulling out year round silverware. Any ideas?

We tie a ribbon through the handles (always several drawers together/in a stacked column).

I run masking tape around the handles. Stays closed well through pesach and comes off super easy with no stringy or sticky remains afterwards.

Apparently we didn't do a good job with the simple piece of tape, LOL, so next year I think I'll tape a large piece of tin foil over the handles, like I used to do.

we don't do anything as we don't use the drawers at all on pesach, everything is out on the counters so no mistakes.

We have magnetic child locks on our drawers and cabinets. For Pesach we make sure they are in "locked" mode and then use masking tape to mark which drawers are chometz.

This year just a note and tape, or tape around the handles at the most. Our youngest is 6 and the attentive type, and our 1.5 year old grandson did no greater damage than ripping the plastic off his high chair tray. When he gets older we may have to go back to tying ribbon or twine around the handles.
