Hi, I have a glider and the seat cushions is really dirty. Can I wash it by hand did anyone do it? The cleaners says only if I can take out the fabric which I can't do. upholstery cleaners have to come down with all machines and want like $150. any other ideas?

I bought together with my glider a special cleanser. You spray it on the stain and rub it off. Look at your local shop maybe they have something like that. If your glider doesn't have stains just needs a fresh scent try febreez fabric freshener.

Mine is removable, with snaps. I threw it into the washing machine. Like new!

Have the same problem now...
To the person who put the cushions in the machine, did it ruin the shape at all? Also mine are kind of big for my machine, how did you get yours in squished it?
And you put it in the dryer or let it hang/air dry?
Any ideas how to clean the ottoman, that cushion is sown into the wood.
I'm thinking of trying a self serve car wash if I don't get any better ideas!!!

wash them in the tub
or outside with a hose
or surface wash them with a damp cloth & a little soap - then rinse with a damp cloth with fresh water & air dry

You can rent a rug cleaner with an upholstery attachment for $25 a day at your local U-Haul. Clean all your upholstery while you're at it.
