I think they are not. But why don't you ask the OU? They certify the Finish powder.

Even the OU tells you that they are Kosher, you still need to see an OU on the package.

My husband contacted the ou because we just bought it in costco and it has no ou on it. This is the email reply and of course we are returning it!
Dear Mr. _____,
Thank you for contacting the OU.
The Powerball Tabs, are no longer certified by the OU.
The ones bearing the OU are from production when it was still certified.
It is generally assumed that dishwashing detergents are not edible entities, and
halachically they do not have a non-kosher status, even if they contain
non-kosher ingredients, as is often the case. Nonetheless, some Poskim maintain
that it has been the established minhag Yisrael (Jewish custom) to use kosher
detergents on plates, pots and utensils that come in contact with food. An OU on
a detergent insures the kosher status of that product. That said, if one used
non-certified dishwashing detergent, bidieved (after the fact), the kosher
status of the utensils would not be compromised.
Please do not hesitate to contact us again should you have any further
questions.
Sincerely,
The Web(be) Rebbe

I asked this question to r' tzinner and he said that it does not need a kosher certification. However, my dh asked another dayan he is close to, and he said it does need one. So I returned the costco finish product, and bought s/t else in shop rite that had the ou but was really expensive.

We don't hold by needing kosher detergent but our local kashrut organisation (NSW Kashrut Authority) which is accepted world wide, lists the following finish dishwasher products as parev:
P Dishwasher Cleaner & Freshener
P Lemon - Liquid
P Lemon - Powder
P Liquid
P Powder
P Power Ball
P Rinse
P Tablets
P Ultra (Plus) Concentrated Powder
These are endorsed and not certified. The ones sold here are made in Poland and have a K on the bottom of the box (no idea if it's related to kashrut but it's a pretty random big K). Just in case those sold elsewhere are made in a different place...

Why shocking? Some rabbis pasken that it's not food, is not in any way edible, and doesn't need one. If someone's rav paskens that way then they don't need to be concerned. They are following halacha.

I asked a rav about this when I realized halfway through my box that it didn't have a hechsher. He said it's fine, I should finish the box, but I shouldn't buy it again. The Finish gel pacs have an OU and I find they work just as well, if not better!

This is not true according to various hashgacha organizations. It depend who your rav is and what his standards are. I am a mashgiach in my Shul and have researched this topic. You should ask your rav or the rav of your community for the answer to this question. The only time I am aware that a dish soap must have a Hechsher is pesach and then the soap does not need Passover approval, the regular one will do. Ask your lot for what you should do.

The Quantums are kosher. At least they were last time I looked, which has been a while because I stocked up when they were on sale.
