However often my dh reties my boys tzitzis, they seem to come undone. We're having the same problem with all kinds - regular, t-shirt, bought in N. America and bought in Israel. And it's happening with brand-new never washed ones, and with ones we've washed before.
I don't know if it's something my boys are doing to them, although I don't see them pulling and fiddling with them that much.
Is there something I can do to make the knots tight, so that they can get through the day with kosher tzitzis?!

I put nail polish on the ends and the know, doesnt keep for always but keeps it in good shape

I can see them getting loose in the wash - but that loose every day - I guess they like to run amok ...

I have the same problem. It drives me nuts! Never tried the nail polish.. sounds like a plan!
