If ill be taking one course for specific certification. The school isn't being helpful. My bank said they aren't considered a college so I can't get a student loan through them. But I don't have the money to lay out for the course itself. How else can I get a (student) loan?

Fill out a FAFSA. Is it a regionally accredited school?

It is only one course, not even part time. Also, it is considered continuing education, not bachelor's level studies. These aren't eligible for government assistance. We may just have to go with a personal loan through our bank. thanks.

We were denied the personal loan from the bank. Any other ideas where we can get a money loan from?

What are you looking to study? Fafsa is not only for college. Courses taken at vocational schools can also be eligible for fafsa. Is this course being given privately? Maybe you can take the course somewhere else where you can get a loan.
