Id like to beef up our collection of board games. Looking for recommendations for two age groups; middle schoolers and preschoolers.

Thanks

My hobby is boardgames:)

which boardgames have you got and enjoy? this will give me an idea what to recommend you,

We have Settlers of Catan - we love this game!
Its good to age 8-9 +

Tickets to ride is also great

more heavier game, but really great is - Galaxy Trucker - my DB just loves it!!

a good push your luck game - Can't Stop - its a small game, only luck but very cute

for preschooler - we just bought Animal Upon Animal - I heard many recommendations for it.
we play Lotti Carroti as well
and memory games

Hope this help

If so I highly recommend the Settlers of Catan, the only disadvantage of this game that is for 3+ players
but you'll family wil enjoy it.
I think that the first few games you should play with them - since some rules are a bit "complicated"
but you'll enjoy the game!!

the game is about 60 min.
short game for 2 Players + is Can't Stop

another good card game is Coloretto

I think that good game is like good book - the adults should enjoy it Smile if they not, its mean it is not good book \ game.

A good place to buy is: csi.com

Good luck

thanks KushKush

I know what you mean about adults also enjoying the book/game. I feel the same way. I hate when my kids ask me to read books or play games that I dont enjoy.
will check out settlers of catan, though a 60 min game is usually too long for me.

Oy, sorry, didn't read too carefully embarrassed .... Ok, another vote for Settlers of Catan then, and Ticket to Ride. Another one, that I don't know well, but my 11 year old son loves when he plays by our neighbors is called "Dominion"......
