Is it safe to drive on hwy 90? (need answer asap, thx)

we're going on vacation tomorrow morning to tiveria. we want to travel with hwy 90 because of the beautiful views. does anyone know if it's safe to drive there? I'm the nervous american type.

Of course it's safe. Watch out for the idiots who like to go 120 on an 80 road, but otherwise you're good to go.

No. Route 90 is a major highway, it doesn't go anywhere near the villages. (I'd be more careful on how you GET to 90. Don't trust the GPS.)

we're thinking to just take the 1 from yerushalayim straight to 90. is that fine?

I am from the US and drove 90 in a rented car. Great scenery. Nice rest stops on the way !

Not if the by "taking the 1 from Yerushalayim" you meant to take the old road to Ma'ale Adumim rather than going via the university and tunnels. They DO throw rocks outside of Issawiya.
