It is sad and as a parent of a child with allergies, I find it to be EXTREMELY scary.
It is amazing how in her family's time of grief they issued a statement saying that they hope this will raise awareness among other people to prevent further occurrences. It may be hard to understand or keep in mind if one is not directly involved with an individual who has allergies. Please take these warnings seriously when they get sent home from school. It's someone else's precious child who may be in grave danger which can possibly be prevented.
