A couple of months ago, there was a signup in shul for apartment subsidies. We didn't know anything about it, but I told my husband - nothing to lose - go sign up.
About 2 weeks ago, we received a package in the mail saying congratulations you've been accepted into our program. Basically it is purportedly a fund started in memory of someone (Keren Mishpachat Alon) that subsidizes a quarter of your mortgage for 25 years as long as you buy in one of 2 locations that they are trying to start a community in: Beit Shemesh or Har Yonah.
Anyone ever heard of this or know anything about it?
