Does it depend on neighborhood? Is $600 reasonable, expensive or a chop?!

Definitely depends on the neighborhood as well as how nice your accommodations are. It's all about supply and demand if you live in an area where a lot of people are trying to come for R"H. I would think it's not so common for people to need an apartment. Normally people come for Sukkot or the whole month of Tishrei.
To me $600 sounds very expensive for just R"H.

depends on the neighborhood and number of bedrooms. are you looking to rent or rent out? I know someone interested.... 600 altogether or per night (1800)

It's a good price for a center area with two bedrooms and normal accomodations. Price her day, right?
