Id like to know what e/o does with thier kids after school if homework finishes by 5.30 and they go to bed at 8-what is there to do besdies video watching and playing outside (if weather isnt good0

my kids do lots of coloring, reading, lego's. that sort of thing.
or they follow me around talking and 'helping' me do whatever it is I'm doing, which lately has been lots of cooking and baking.

Try getting an activity in once a week like music lessons or gymnastics or tennis etc
