Anyone here a sonographer? What can you tell me about your job?
How's the training, pay, hours etc? Is there a demand for sonographers?

I'm not too familiar with this career but I was speaking to a friend recently who has been working in the field for almost two years and she said she is making $48,000 time in the Ob field. I have another friend who just started LIU and I know the program is only two years. She has a BA but I know she told me all you need is pre reqs but don't know how many you need. If you live in NY area, I suggest u look into LIU, Methodist in Brooklyn. Downstate.

Anyone I know who trained to be a sono grapher had a very hard time finding a job. Dont think they ever did. I think it's a difficult job market. Check out the need for so ographers in your area before going for schooling.
