I am im'h going to Israel for 2 1/2 weeks in January
wondering if anyone has guidance about phone rentals
I am looking to pay as little as possible and do not need any fancy gadgets - just a way to make phone calls
My family uses 'orange' so I may be tempted to use them if they have free orange to orange ... but I cant seem to find any info online about the 'orange' company
My current phone does not have a place for a sim card - do I dont think that that is an option
Please help me.
let me know what has worked for you in the past

People coming from the U.S. rent from companies originating in the U.S. Easier than dealing with anything here....
If you are not in the U.S. then find out who people in your country rent from.

Do you know how to do that? or who to contact? | If you live in Brooklyn I would recommend renting a phone from Hoffy's. Great prices and great service!

They're all expensive. You have to search for "Orange (Partner)" to find out anything about Orange.

Cheapest option is to get a pay as you go/ talkman card from any of the companies. You can get in the airport or in an israeli post office.
This is only feasible if u can get hold of an unlocked phone.
I would say expect to spend minimum $50 if you rent from any tourist company.
