Are more expensive sheitels comfortable?

I was wondering if anyone out there has tried both cheaper and super expensive brands and can tell me if it makes a difference in comfort.

I put my sheitel on, and can barely move, I want to scream it makes me feel so kvetchy. Maybe because it is a relatively cheaper brand?

I see other mothers driving their kids to school at 8 AM with a sheitel and cannot fathom how they can stand it. Maybe there are more comfy sheitels than mine?

If you have any advice on choosing a sheitel, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!

More than price:
-good sizing
-non itchy hair
-non itchy hairdo (some cant stand fringe)
-go for shorter and lighter

No. My Shevys are hansmade nets and stiff.
My cheaper wigs have stretchy caps which are really comfortable.

I find my most comfortable one is a custom. The price was comparable to a top of the line shevy when I bought it. So for me yes my more expensive is most comfortable.

I have a real cheap one that is unbelievably comfortable...for the first 2 years even mroe so than my kiki which took time to stretch out and be comfy.

My $850 sheitel is the most comfortable sheitel that I have ever owned. In comparison I re-sold my $1800 fall because the super expensive supposedly "comfortable" cap hurt after a half hour of wear.

I think more than price or brand it's your individual head in an individual sheitel.

I agree, it's the size of the cap. I have pretty cheap sheitels & find them very comfortable now, but in the beginning they made me crazy & I had to stretch the caps out for them to be comfortable.
