My anniversary is tomorrow and I'd really like to send something thoughtful to my husbands work. Something not expensive. Sorta the equivalent of flowers, but he wont appreciate flowers the way a women would. (We dont buy anniversary gifts for each other but just want to say an extra thanks since he's really been taking on a lot lately so that I can fulfil my dream, going back to school. Want to show my appreciation)

Macho-man equivalent of flowers would be beer. But given that many workplaces have a zero-tolerance policy for alcohol, go for either food or gadgetry.

Thanks. I'm really NOT looking for a gift. He's more if the home cooked meal kind of guy. I wish I could just send him a $25 bouquet. :-(

Don't send anything you or him would be ashamed of.
Don't be too provocative either, it's not fair for him.

I do NOT think the equivalent of flower is beer or s-x. men come in all kinds, and can appreciate a pleasant gesture. Maybe chocolate or a goody like that?

Even a guy who does like flowers may be unhappy to receive them in public, bear in mind

If you don't think he will appreciate a plant (which is not feminine by the way), what about a nice mug for coffee/tea/hot chocolate and filled with appropriate accompaniments. So packets of hot cocoa/tea, small bag of chocolates, biscotti, etc. Sometimes these come pre-made as a little gift basket.

I like this or balloons. Balloons are neither feminine or masculine, they're just fun! Smile
