vaseline before sleep, and more if needed. I have the worst lips, that's the only thing that works, and I've bought plenty.

vaseline before you leave the house ... after a shower ... whenever you finish eating/brushing teeth ... before bed

it doesn't have to be glopped on ... but using it frequent you avoid the moisture being sucked out with the air ...

Vaseline at night, the original brand.

Buy small ones. It loses moisture content over time, so you want it fresh. It doesn't ever go bad, it just doesn't have as much moisture in it as when it's new.

Take a multi vitamin. You may want to use gloss, an expensive gloss. Keep a stick in your purse, your desk, on your dresser, so you can take care of yourself efficiently. A light color so the color doesn't build up.

You might have pump moisturizer bottles all over the house, and use it a lot on hands, neck, face, eyes.

Castor oil right after a shower. On eyes, face, lip, neck, elbows, knees, feet. Just test to make sure your skin doesn't mind it, before first use.

You might improve your nutrition. Multivitamin, beef.

Another loud vote for petroleum jelly (Vaseline). Great for dry faces and hands too. Cheap, but works better than anything else. I may need to lose a few but this young savta takes care of her skin.

Vaseline is the only thing you will ever need for your lips. And the most important time to apply it is right before bed. Then during the day as often as you need.

I use Vaseline all the time!
First thing in morning, at night -before going to sleep, every time I leave my house, and pretty often during the day as well. Whenever I feel dry...
Its really a nature and skin type.
As often as I use it, I never had the feeling of really soft baby-skin lips...

My girlfriend makes a line of lotion products and her peppermint lip balm is the bomb! I keep it in my purse and use it frequently. Morning, night and anywhere in between.

I second vaseline, but wouldn't put it on during the day. vaseline is oil and you can burn your lips or get sun spots in the sun.

if you want to buy something, Clinique's ALL ABOUT LIPS is the only thing that ever works for me. and I live where it gets very cold. Alternatively, there are homemade recipes online...
