Im having an appt for dd at the dentist Dr. Waltner on Berry street. Anything to do in the immediate vicinity? Maybe somewhere to hang out and give dc supper? Or a shoe store and buy some boots? Or somewhere to get a uniform sweater for dd?

Not many stores for shopping around the area. For food you can go to Avenue Cafe on Bedford between South 8 and South 9. You could have luck finding a uniform sweater at DCW in Berry between Division and South 11.

Yes very. Its a pizza-sushi kinda place! No other suggestions really unless your willing to go a little out of the way. The area is dead shopping wise.
