I am from OOT
looking for a 2 bedroom apartment or basement for a newly wed kollel couple.
In the pine/river area. Maybe even forest park, I'm not sure if that is close by, I.e. Walking distance
I would be interested in another area, but would like a Sephardic shul of young couples, walking distance.
I called West Gate already, but they only have houses available at this time.
I've checked Masa Umatan and bnblakewood.com, no luck
I will be in lakewood Monday to look in person.
If you know of anything at all please let me know.
I need the apartment ASAP, so I can buy furniture.

From what I hear, there seems to be a major shortage on apartments. My dd is getting married in 2 months, and I started looking for an apartment already.

There is a seperate list that is distributed weekly among the chassanim in bmg. Some ppl only advertize there bec. they only want newlyweds. See if you can find someone in bmg who can get the list for you.

Apartment availability in Lakewood seems to go in waves. Three-four years ago there was a major shortage. Two years ago there was a glut and people had a really hard time getting tenants. Now it's back to shortage time. My friend's daughter is getting married in five weeks and still doesn't have anything.
