My DS is getting married soon.
He is looking to rent an apartment in lakewood
Are there any apartments or basements available in the Raintree area.
He is also interested in the Pine/River area, Ponderosa drive, or another area with a Sephardic shul, and a young friendly crowd.
We can take it immediately or wait until it becomes available.

We have looked in Masa Umatan and bnblakewood.com. No luck so far.

Bnblakewood is broken down into areas 14, central, down the 9 north, down the 9 south, E. Country line, Ridge.
I am from OOT, I'm not sur which area Raintree would be in.

Please if you know of anything at all let me know.

It's probably in the E. County Line area.
Also, there's a very big apartment shortage now so I dont know how picky he can be.

Is there a realtor that can help me.

Basments and apartments are really hard to find these days...2 years ago there was a list of available basements from here till tomorrow...not sure why it became so hard...there seems to be alot of building going on.

Raintree is far from those areas as someone said its down E. Count line road.

There is a huge shortage of apartments now.

I know couples who are starting out in furnished temps and then looking after they are married because it is hard to find or they are willing to wait for an apartment that will be vacated soon. Supposedly even temps walking distance to yeshiva are hard to find now.

You can also ask someone to check the boards in yeshiva for any postings (don't know if it still works like that - but that is how we found our original temp when we were first married.)

Thanks for all the info
DS is not looking in the area of the yeshiva.
He is more interested in pine/river area, close to ponderosa drive.
Or somewhere that has a Sephardic synagogue, that is young and warm.
We have no family there so community is everything.
I want the couple to have friends. Both DS and the Kallah are outgoing people, but they are OOTs

Nobody rents in Raintree unless you're renting a house. They are private homes, usually without rentable basements. Great neighborhood. though! I'd love to live there.

I am moving soon, no set date yet but within the next month or two iy"H. Not in Pine River but on the same side of town. Nice basement apartment. You may not be able to be all that picky now, there are practically no apartments available! PM me if you'd like.

I live in the Pine River Area and there is not much available right now. I get calls twice a week asking if my basement is available.

In the summer there should be some new basements available as there is building going on but just not in large amounts.
