I've never played Angry Birds, but if you go into other popular phone games, Fruit Ninja sounds promising

there is cookies called angry birds and they come in individual packages. I found them in shoprite.
I never played the game, but DH can get the kids to do homework with a game as a bribe.

Birds lay eggs. You can fill up the eater egg with stuff. They come in all colors.

Um, you don't have to do food that relates to their costumes. Just make/buy something that you like and think other people will like.

I don't have any mishloach manot ideas - I just wanted to say that Angry Birds is a great costume idea. Love it! Sounds like your family will have a lot of fun.

Very clever theme! How about little baskets (nests) of treats like berries and seeds? I don't eat chocolate but are there kosher candy eggs or such?
