I am so happy to see many sisters being my kinda sizes...
but how about so many are in the upper teen sizes
cause were sitting on amother for too many hours
and not moving enough...?
just saying
not that there is anything wrong with upper teens
its just not healthy....

5'5", size 12.
One of my teachers in seminary used to complain that it "wasn't Jewish to try and be so skinny! A yiddishemama has meat on her bones". So I tell myself that now I have some meat on my bones and I'm a real yiddishemama.

lol!! I've heard things like that (too) many times
Not to mention the "what?? you want to go on a diet?? well... you do what you want, but we didn't have much of a choice 60 years ago"... Motivating, huh? I just wanted to lose the 5 kilos I had put on during engagement (too many restaurants) for the wedding, finally I didn't even do it... I will try to lose them along with pregnancy weight

I'm 5'1 and wear a 6-8.
Today I'm a bit depressed though, cuz I decided to sew a skirt for my self (never done clothes for me before , only kids stuff) and I had to buy a size 14 according to my measurments. The guy who helped me said that it does not mean thats my size it's just the size I have to buy to custom fit it, but it is still depressing to see that number (I'm not letting my dh see it)

Don't take it to heart!
