I'd like to buy a new shaitel. My budget is about $500 - $600.
Do any of you have any suggestions?
Thanks

That's why I started this thread. I didn't want to hijack the others.
Where can I find info on savvy?

They have a website- savvywigs or something like that. I saw an ad about shaina wigs having a sale - prices range from 350-500. Sounds cheap to me!

I just bought a yaffa from the yaffa wig outlet on ebay. I payed 100$ but there were ones of higher quality - more expensive too.
the only catch for being so cheap is u cant return it so make sure b/f hand its something youd like. I love mine. is the most beautiful sheitel ive ever seen!

Since I needed a really short sheitel for work, I dared to try eBay and was really pleasantly surprised. The one I got (from the Jenny's Hair Sense store) looked exactly like the picture, fit well, and only cost $45. No returns or exchanges, of course, but I'm completely happy with it.

im the amother of the 7 sheitel post and actually I would not jump at that chance! I would not spend more than 100$ on sheitel! not because I cant afford it, just have found many really just as nice ones for much cheaper. also this way I can have more! and spending hundreds or thousands sounds crazy to me. I think most people who spend that much are people who dont know you can find just as nice for sooooo much cheaper and they just buy from their sheitel macher out of ignorance, not doing research on it and thinking that a thousand is what is normal to spend. not trying to criticize those who do though.

It had a 100% human hair tag, and the Rav that I talked to doesn't have a problem with Indian hair. He said the covering is more important, and since I'm the sole breadwinner right now, $45 is all I can afford. I definitely was lucky with the quality, though!
