Toy Soldier theme - or Marching Band

I see everyone is getting great ideas here on MM themes. Hopefully someone can help me out. I made my kids toy soldier costumes (twice actually but thats a whole other story) I'm trying to come up with a MM in that theme. I first thought I'd give it out in 'drums', but I cannot figure out how to go about it. I wanted to buy round hat boxesto decorate, but cannot find any locally.
Any ideas?

we were planning on doing toy soldiers one year, but the costumes ended up looking just like a marching band-so we went w/ that theme instead.
do u have a craft store like acmoore or michaels near u? you can get round wooden boxes there and decorate to your hearts content.
how about drumsticks as a food?

come to think of it, the costume does look a lot like marching band costumes.
Okey, so does anyone have an idea for a marching band MM? Maybe something to do with Simchas Purim.
