I am about to go back to school, which will mean I will have to leave my baby for 5 or 9 hours a day. He is 3 months old. He used to take the pacifier, but lately he refusing it completely. The only way he will go to sleep is if I nurse him - a long time. Otherwise he just screams. I don't know about how he will eat from a bottle, he did take it when he was younger, though not very willingly. I'm afraid it will be more problematic now - because he demands the breast all day. I am nursing him all day. I can't imagine how he will be without me!

Leave the room and ask DH to give him a bottle, formula or what you pumped. See if he takes it. May take a few tries. Try to pump a bit each day to make sure you have enough to leave him with when you go back, especially if he doesn't take formula
