I haven't been to a wedding in years. And this one isn't a frum wedding. I have a couple of beautiful fancy skirts but they're patterned and they basically match just a cream or black blouse. When people talk about whether or not to wear white to a wedding, are they including a cream blouse in this potential etiquette faux pas?
If it makes a difference, this is a family wedding and I'll be in photos with the bride.

A cream color blouse with a colored skirt would not be a fashion faux pas. Not wearing white to a wedding means not wearing ALL white. However--why not ask the bride how she feels about your wearing a cream-color blouse? If she doesn't care, neither should you. If she does care, wear the black.
