Help with family trip to Florida

we're hoping to take a family trip to Miami. question is...what is there to do there if it rains???

It usually doesn't rain all day long in Florida. If it does you can always go to the mall. Wink

How old are the kids? It rains almost every day in the summer but just for a brief period, not all day long. There are museums, indoor play gyms, boomers, check e cheese, movie theaters...

kids range in age from baby till 12
mall wouldn't really help us I think, anything else?

I was there in summer and the heat + humidity is brutal. The sun is much stronger so burns happen very fast so use plenty of sunscreen and drink way more than u think everyone needs.
It does rain often but not all day so even out door activities can be fine. Try Miami duck tours, seaquarium, parrot jungle, vizcaya mansion, and the coral cave filled w water, boat tours etc. most hotels should have brochures. Enjoy!
