My child has sensory issues. Not approved for OT. How much do Ots charge per hour in Brooklyn? What's the range? Thanks.

your insurance might cover some of it. My kid's insurance will cover 20 sessions a year, that is better than nothing.

Thanks. My insurance does not cover. The reason I ask is because one OT quoted 100 a half hour, another 50. Does that make sense? How can one be charging double???!!! Maybe I'm missing something. Do they charge more for more experience? Confused.

People charge what the market will bear! Some OTs have a following and a waiting list, so they charge more. Others charge less. You have to decide if a more experienced person is worth paying THAT much more for.
If I were you, I'd rely on recommendations from the school and other parents.
