Public Plea - It was ALL mysteriously found in a bedroom, while Pesach cleaning. I am really embarassed, and publicly ask Mechila for any harm I might have caused Friedman's Supermarket. Sorry, I am only human. (I still can't understand how a few shopping bags ended up in a bedroom now, but it's certainly nothing to do with Friedman's).

Is the supermarket right?

Here's the funny part.

We proceeded to stuff our faces with the chocolate, not wanting to have to sell it, until I realized that they're mostly Kosher for Pesach! Whew!

hey babe - don't feel so bad ... something similar happened to me ... went shopping at walmart - dds bought stuff ... got home d couldn't find bag w/her stuff ... went back to store - cashier wasn't helpful but manager gave me everything that I said was in bag ... went home and other d hung her coat with bag together ... don't ask me why ... but I returned bag with apology and appreciation to store ... my kids thought I was gonna get arrested ... but I was right about everything that was in the bag and taught them a real lesson in standing up for yourself as well as to know when you made a mistake... amother it happens so... don't worry ... and can I have some chocolate Wink

glad u found the chocolate, but the policy of the store is still wrong. they should at least keep the bag of food (w/o perishables) for a day or two.

they did not say they didnt have it or we will see, or even "let us ask the workers" they said-we put anything left here back on the shelves-too bad.

Here's the story:

When assembling my MM, I suspected that I had bought alot more chocolate and candy than I saw in my bags. I figured that I probably left a couple of bags, worth about $100.00, at the store or that they mistakenly ended up going home with another customer. I called the store and was told that when items are returned and they don't know the rightful owner, the merchandise is returned to the shelves. I was upset.

Fast forward to now: Mysteriously this week, we discovered whatever the missing bags in a bedroom. My house isn't that big, nor are my bedrooms.

What embarassment!
