Does anyone have any idea how to make cauliflower popcorn (from Kosher by Design) with frozen cauliflower? low temperature for a long time or high temperature for a short time? Thanks!

My experience is that this works best with fresh cauliflower for those interested in adding the step of bug checking. (CRC has instructions on their website)

Thanks. So I just did and found this: ra_mom wrote: | No! It will come out soggy if you defrost it. Roast it until just done as per recipe, not longer. |
@Ra-mom or anyone else who baked this successfully;
Do you roast the cauliflower the entire time or first bake it and only roast it towards the end to get it crispy? How long would you bake / roast frozen cauliflower? TIA

not as crispy, but very good.
bake uncovered at 450 for 30 min. |
Ra-mom, in this post you wrote 'bake' whereas in the previous post you wrote roast... which is it? both perhaps?

Bake/roast uncovered for 30 minutes in oven preheated to 450 degrees.

I make this all the time with frozen cauliflower, it's the easiest thing and so delicious. I always use the cauliflower straight from the freezer and it tastes amazing.
The recipe:
1/2 tsp salt (the recipe called for more but I found it salty)
2 tsp sugar
1/4 garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp paprika
4 tbsp olive oil
Mix together all the spices with the oil
Toss with cauliflower
Roast at 450

Yes it's good with broccoli too but watch the broccolli because it burns faster than the cauliflower does.
