Maybe you should change your thread title to Attention women in Lkwd who don't drive. That might get you attention from other people who are in the same situation who aren't belzers.

I am not Belz and I do drive, but the same issues exist for drivers and nondrivers. Juggling home versus outside the home responsibilities. It's not simple for anyone.
I work and I'm not home during the day. When do I do errands, shopping, take children to the doctor, etc - in the evening and Sundays. Now that I have older children, I have the option to have one babysit, but generally going out in the evening throws off the whole routine of homework, supper, bedtime. Even with very good helpers at home the children want their mother to put them to bed.
I use Chemed for dental and one very good things is they are open Sundays. However, I think there's a waiting list to get in.
I would recommend if you do not work to try to get a lot of things done during the day, even if it means taking car services. Unless your children are all very young (go to sleep early) and your husband can drive you at night. But you would still need to pay a babysitter.
Firstly, there's a lot you can done during the day at home too - but then be organized and spend one day getting things done out of the house. You can also take care of things that are near each other in the same day, so you are only taking the cab to one location, then walking to one or two more places and then going home.
I am living here a long time - cannot give advice with getting into schools, but if you need general Lakewood advise - shopping, etc, you can PM me.
