I need ideas for a dessert for fri night, chanukah. Something I could prepare in advance, easy to serve for a crowd and of course, delicious....

trifle!
Make 2 layers of choco cake (hershey's), layer with chocolate mousse and whipped cream and crushed something (cookies, viennese crunch, chocolate bars w/ crispies --btw it's optional but soooo worth it), cover w/ foil and stick in freezer.
Take it about 4 hours before your meal and let it thaw. It feeds a very large crowd and is so fun to look at!
anon b/c I made this IRL just recently for guests who frequent this site!

maybe a bunch of rice krispie treats shaped into a chanukah item (eg. dreidel or menorah)?
