Ruchel, they will NOT allow you into the casinos or the bars with a baby, sorry! I would advise you to go to Vegas ONLY if you can go without baby, otherwise it's no fun at all
Anyways, just because you have a baby it doesn't mean you're legal gambling age. Here in America 13 year olds are having babies, sadly. They ID'd me once when I was pregnant, didn't seem to deter them.
Even when I was in Atlantic City with my kids, they only allowed me to walk through the Casino with my stroller, on the walk way ONLY, NOT through the tables and slot machines, and I was NOT allowed to stop 'til I got outside onto the Boardwalk.

There are a few nice restaurants there. Check out Summerlin (on the NW side of Vegas). We went there 5-6 times a year when we lived in S. Diego.

Argh, I would go crazy being in a casino and not even able to gamble a bit lol
And I don't think dh would like to be asked to stay with the baby while I go and have fun, he's more the type that needs to be dragged away from the table because I'm falling asleep
Only solution will be going next year and bringing my parents along

You can walk through the casinos with children, but you can not stop. Even if you stop just to read a sign, security will come to move you along. However, we never went to Vegas without our children and we had plenty to do and had wonderful fun. I guess it all depends on what you want to do.
We always take the children with us when we travel. Sometimes we do take our babysitter with us. We pay her expenses (travel, food, lodging) and we can go out at night while she stays in the hotel with the children.

You can always take turns Ruchel! When DH and I went with our kids, we also took along my MIL, so she watched my kids at night in the hotel room. But during the day, we wanted that my MIL should also enjoy herself, so I went to play for a few hours while DH took the kids to the pool or the beach, then switched off.
