are you all washing full loads?

I only have 2 loads to do, and one is diapers. maybe 3 if I combine some loads.

I did wash the babies' stuff twice during chol hamoed though.

6 people ka"h, + guests (that means three loads just of linen). It's 8 days' worth of laundry!!!!! Of course it's more than 10 loads!

Do a load of only the white shirts and instead of laundry detergent, use Cascade dishwashing crystals.

I usually only do white ... my stuff comes out nice ... my son has been out of town this year and doesn't believe in the wear once theory ... so I want to see if all the grunge he has acquired will come off since he is home with his shirts ... bleach and some elbow grease should do it ... I do not have cascade or a dishwasher ... but sounds interesting ...

We live in Israel where the washers are smaller and without dryers. We have about 10 loads since we are 8 people plus tablecloths and towels.
Slowly slowly...

Pesach linen (not bed linen) alone takes up quite some laundry time and space:
tablecloth
table liner
12 linen napkins
husband's kittel
seder pillow cases - fancy ones with ruffles
akikomen bags
matzoh tashen
Pesach white/nirtzah towels
sink/faucet covers

guest bed linens

clothing, white shirts, p.j.'s, underwear, socks 'n dark towels, delicate lingerie, light clothing, dark clothing, Yom Tov robes, etc. etc.
