Last year at my dd school's auction I won some cute toys, but recently I just won a $1000 gift certificate to Living Quarters plus a beautiful set of "Guest room" which includes down pillows & covers ,matching linen & towels +a mezuzah plus plus..what a great feeling !

I've won a $2000 gift certificate for jewelry, a GPS system, a gift card to Target, and a bunch of other small things like kids board games, a patio table, tickets to a museum, and some other stuff I can't remember now. I love Chinese auctions!

The very first time I went to a Chinese auction, I won a (water) pearl necklace and earrings. I was so hooked that I continued going to auctions for years, but never again won anything (which is more like my usual luck.)

yes. dh won the men's package. we still haven't used it a year later. I hope we can find the certificates. dh could use $150 certificate to get more trousers! embarrassed

I just looked through a brochure listing the prizes for one at a school and some are really good. I'd love to have them. However, I think no way would I win, especially if I didn't buy the $5000 package to enter the event!!
