Whats the name of the very lively wild jumpy music at weddings... (not a specific song, a certain style of music) where the music makes everyone go wild.
I cant think of the name of the music.
Ive seen it on Youtube at Chassidic weddings too.
TIA

No, a different name, its rockish-wild. This music might even have black roots.

Sounds like you might be thinking of reggae, but I don't think that's what it is. Hip hop?
How about lively wild music ?

Ok this is weird.
It's not a style, AFAIK it's a specific song called Gangnam Style.
And B"h I have never heard it played at a chassidishe wedding.
ETA: It comes from a South Korean singer named PSY. So old, why are you bringing this up now? It was a hit in popular culture quite a while ago.
If this song was sung at a chassidish wedding someone there (chosson, kallah, wedding guest, bandmember) was not quite traditional minded.

ETA: It took me too long to post this, and in the meantime OP found her answer.

I guess in pop music terms that is old!
Too new to be tradition, too old to be "in".
Whatever... it was a fad, over and done with.

FTR, "Gangnam Style" is not the name of a style of music, it's the name of a song. Gangnam is a neighborhood in the capital of Southe Korea, the song has something to do with that.

Well, at Sephardic weddings it's usually Mi Shem'amin that has that effect.
