The one thing that I realized that has much bearing on why Jews behave a certain way is that cultural norms are very hard to change. The children in this video are not Jewish but it is heart breaking that their lives are so bleak and there are reasons why their cultures defend this practice, the same way our Jewish cultural practices persist, even when they are not always in our best interest.
