What is the best toothpaste to give to a child? I heard that flouride is not good for a child.

too much flouride isn't good, but I don't think it is majorly bad.
Some cities put flouride in their water, so it is best using a child's toothpaste with a low flouride dose in it.
But where I live there is no flouride in the water so I was told by the dentist and health visitor that I should use an adults toothpaste for my toddler.
Working in a chemist I do notice alot of people need flouride drops or tablets because the water hasn't got fouride in it or the dentists might give people a toothpaste with a very high dose of flouride because their teeth are in bad shape.
