I would like to do some hair removal for my hairline and sides. I've always had somewhat of a low hairline, but with my pregnancy, I got a whole new crop of annoying bay hairs all over.
So for permanent hair removal, which would be the best option.
(I have thick dark wavy hair, cost is not a factor as I want to do it once and do it well)
If you've done it before please post details

Laser works great especially for the hairline. with electrolyses you'll spend a lot more time as its a longer process.
Laer however is more painful.
But if you were able to tolerate chilbirth, you will tolerate this too
haha

I've had clients tell me that it's worse than labor, others said labor was worse... it all depends on your pain threshold, as well as your skin type, etc...

Actually, I was induced and had an epidural before any real labor started, so I have no frame of reference

I actually worked for someone who does Laser and I have done it myself. I would recommend based on your hair color (and if your skin color is light) laser would be a better option. Electrolysis is for single hairs or smaller areas, if you are looking to do sections than Laser works the best.

Just be aware, your hairline and Brazilian hurt the most, and I believe that going through any labor is worse than Laser, there are machines that hurt less than others so just ask around before you commit.

Another thing to consider is that pregnancy makes certain areas of your body grow more hair, because hair growth is hormonal. If you are pregnant, wait until you give birth and than start laser when you are in a "normal" state. I started before I was pregnant and continued while I was and I was fine. Usually that is the case.

How many sessions of laser do you have to do for it to be effective?

I always knew laser and electrolysis are a no-no during pregnancy.
