Recently my 6 year old has become fearful about different things. Mostly all about her wellbeing. She used to be such a strong personality. But now she's afraid of car accidents, health, death
Nothing traumatic has happened so im not sure why the sudden anxiety.
Could it be a deficiency in vitamins or something?

Did she have strep in the last month or a virus or sick with something else recently?
Are you in an area or have gone to an area with possible ticks?
She needs to be checked by her pediatrician or a specialist for Lyme disease, PANDAS or PANS.

Did you have a baby recently?
Does it affect her life constantly so that she is afraid all day, or is this just something she talks about sometimes?

Nutrition can cause fears? I don't know. But if you're noticing a sudden change in your child's behavior I would definitely talk to your pediatrician.

Lyme disease symptoms "fatigue, joint and muscle pain, neuropathic pain (tingling, numbness and burning), sleep disorders, memory and concentration problems, anxiety, depression"
PANDAS happens when antibodies produced by the body to fight against strep (or PANS by antibodies produced by other infections) attack the body itself. Yes, PANDAS can cause fears. The antibodies attack the part of the brain called the basal ganglia in charge of motor, executive function, behaviors, emotions...
Sudden onset is the red flag for both Lyme and PANS/PANDAS.
