My 14 yr. old needs very delicate surgery which is very rare.
I have been to many surgeons and sone will not touch it because of the delicate nature of the surgey and some say yes they could do it but I am not sure I trust them.
I have spoken with a medical referral agency and they gave me a top world renowned surgeon . I went to him and even he is not too confident he has only preformed several of theses surgeries in his 20 years of practice.
I know I have to daven that is a given but is there anything else I should do.
Any advice would be helpful.

I'm sorry I have no useful advice for you, except maybe to speak to other referral agencies, you never know who will be the right shaliach.
Just wanted to say how sorry I am, this must be heartbreaking for all of you.

Wow, this sounds like an awfully difficult situation to be in! 
Have you asked the surgeon what he suggests you do? What would he do if this was his child?
If the surgery is essential and must be carried out despite the risks then I would contact an adom gadol for a blessing. I would also spread his name to family and friends so that as many people as possible are davening for a successful outcome.
