my brother did. they didn't automatically take, if I remember correctly but they did take a few. he doesn't get paid for his articles, don't know if others do. not sure about response time- if noone else responds I can try to ask him later.

Their readership is very large. I don't believe they pay. Don't know about response times, sorry.

Lol! I had an entire post from Imamother published by Aish.com without my permission, which I didn't appreciate so much. Needless to say, no pay was involved.

I didn't even realize what had happened until people in my community recognized a few details in it and started complimenting me on the piece and a rabbi told me how impressed he was by the sense of tznius I exhibited in not attaching my name.

What I *should* have learned from the incident -- but alas have not -- is that any post long enough to be published as an essay is too long.

Although that wasn't as amusing as the time an Imamother quote from me was included in a book and attributed to a "typical Bobov wife and mother."

Their response time is very quick - within days if not hours - and they do pay for articles.
