If there is a place more appropriate to post this question, please let me know. Someone recommended the "Kashrut Forum" but I couldn't find it : (
We had dinner with a Vishnitz family on Friday night and there was not enough notice ahead of time for me to get a gift. My husband bought a big box of Earl Grey Wissotzky tea and the hechsher is Rav Ruben.
If you are Vishnitz or have friends who are, can you please tell me whether it is ok for me to give our Vishnitz friends this Wissotzky tea with Rav Ruben's hechsher? I won't ask them because I don't want them to say not to give them anything and that's the type of people they are...they always want to do things for us and never want us to do anything for them!
Thank you.
